Chords
Chords are what make up most songs, they are the harmony and back bone to your music. Play around with some chords and see what you feel sounds right. You can make up a chord by playing the 1st, 3rd and 5th notes. So start in an A for example then you'd play a C, then an E. This would make up an A minor chord.
